CU Registered Nurse – Night Shift (NH)Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
- Schedule: Weekdays with Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Schedule Note: No fixed set days; schedule is based on unit needs
- Floating: Yes – to ED (not ICU holds only), Stepdown, and Med-Surg (modified assignment)
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night-shift opportunity. The ideal candidate is a strong, independent ICU nurse who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable floating when required. CVICU experience is highly preferred.
Experience Requirements- 2–3 years of ICU experience required
- If closer to 2 years, must be a strong self-starter with broad ICU exposure
- Experience working independently and managing high-acuity patients
- CVICU experience is a strong plus (please highlight on resume)
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Required Certifications & License- Active NH RN License or Compact RN License (required at submission)
- BLS & ACLS – Required
- Preferred: TNCC, PALS, CCRN
Clinical Experience / EquipmentExperience with the following is required:
- Balloon pumps
- CRRT
- Impella
- ICP monitoring
- Arctic Sun / TTM management
- Alaris pumps
- Rapid infuser
EMR- Cerner preferred (experience helpful but not required)
