Department: UIS HRH MOB II Diagnostic
FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Radiography / X Ray Technologist:
- Reviews patient history,initiatesRadiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
- Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications whilemonitoringpatient condition
- Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate
- Implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control and equipment functionality based onestablishedbest practices in Radiology (ARRT)
