We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist Hospitalist to join our dynamic and growing inpatient neurology team. Job SummaryAs a Neurology Hospitalist, you will provide inpatient neurology consultation and management services for patients with acute and subacute neurological conditions such as stroke, seizures, encephalopathy, and other complex disorders. You will work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency physicians, and subspecialty teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in a collaborative hospital setting. Key Responsibilities•Provide inpatient neurology consultations and ongoing management of hospitalized patients.•Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions.•Interpret neuroimaging and EEG studies (if applicable).•Participate in stroke response and acute stroke code management.•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.•Provide education and guidance to residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers.•Ensure accurate documentation and billing in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.•Perform and interpret EMG/NCS studies (desirable). Qualifications•MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.•Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.•Valid and unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligibility).•Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.•Commitment to teamwork and excellence in inpatient neurology care.
