Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with day shifts and a requirement for a current NC or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Operating Room (OR) setting within a hospital environment
- Day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Direct involvement in surgical procedures and perioperative patient care
- Provide nursing care in the perioperative setting, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient management
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with certifications valid for duration of assignment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
