A Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist provides specialized inpatient mental health care for children and adolescents with mood disorders, trauma history, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. This full-time locum position involves working night shifts in a hospital setting, managing 10 to 12 patients per shift, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team. The role requires board certification in child/adolescent psychiatry, a valid New York medical license, and an unrestricted DEA registration.

Job Description

• Hospital setting with a full range of staff and care team

• Variable schedule

• 100% inpatient caseload

• Average 10 to 12 patients per shift

• Child and adolescent patient cases with a mood disorder, history of trauma, substance abuse, or behavioral concerns

• Provide patient care during night hours
