A full-time, permanent Neurologist position is available in a private practice in Nacogdoches, Texas, primarily outpatient with some inpatient consults. The role involves treating general neurological disorders with opportunities for EMG and NCS tests at the clinic and requires call duties seven to fifteen days per month. Seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to join a private practice in Texas.
Primarily outpatient position.
Open to candidates with a 2026 or 2027 start date
Can consider J1 candidates for 2027 (no specialty waivers left in TX for 2026)
Join a mature Neurology practice with two other Neurologists in a 31 provider multi-specialty group.
The team is fully committed to excellence in patient care and includes family physicians, pediatricians, and specialists in cancer care, rheumatology, orthopedics, and pulmonary medicine.
The group has a support staff of a practice manager, patient service representative, medical assistant.
General Neurology; Fellowship is OK as long as you are OK with majority general
Level 4 Trauma
Busy ED, 23K Visits
7 days a month of call, up to 15 days
Outpatient, inpatient; mostly outpatient
Volume: 15 patients per day in the clinic
Fridays are a half day with patients. Time to catch up on administrative duties
EMG, NCS at the clinic, no requirements
EEG is at the hospital, no requirements
Two physicians has been with the group for a long time
0-2 consults a day for inpatient
No APPs in the group
