Supervised Anesthesia Model | Monday–Friday Schedule | Call Rotation | EPIC EMR
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in central Pennsylvania. This is an excellent fit for experienced CRNAs seeking a consistent weekday schedule, collaborative physician oversight, and autonomy in performing regional techniques across a balanced case mix.
Assignment Overview
- Location: Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania
- Facility Type: Community Hospital (44 Beds)
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call: 1–2 weekday pager calls (3 PM–7 AM) & 1–2 weekend 24-hour pager calls per month
- Team Structure: 1 Physician + 4 CRNAs (Supervised Model)
- EMR: EPIC
- Monthly Coverage: 30–33 shifts available
Practice Environment- Rooms: 4 running weekdays | 1 on weekends (case-dependent)
- Cases: General, Orthopedic, Cath Lab, and Endoscopy
- Regional Anesthesia: Must be proficient in all regional and nerve blocks
- OB: None — no obstetric cases at this facility
- Night/Weekend Coverage: Pager model with full CRNA team support
- Culture: Stable department, collaborative leadership, and low case stress environment
Candidate Requirements- Active & unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNA License
- Board Certified (or within 1 year of eligibility)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
- Comfort with light call schedule (pager-based)
