Shift: 8a-5p, with 5p-8a unrestricted call if available

End Date: July 25, 2025 (additional weekends in August and September possible)

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults only (no pediatrics)
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Department
Responsibilities: Daily patient management, supervision of psychiatric NP, handling referrals from Muskegon and Grand Rapids EDs
Required Procedures: Familiarity with seclusion therapy, pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and restraint application
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 5 Psychiatrists, 6 Advanced Practice Providers
Days Per Month: Several dates in July; potential weekends in August/September
On-Call/Weekends: 5p-8a unrestricted call if able; weekends as needed

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry Required

• Active Michigan Medical License Required

• BLS Certification Required

• Willing to supervise Psychiatric NP Required
