Health System seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine -Pediatric Physician to join full-time in Alabama!
This Health System is seeking physicians Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or IM/Pediatrics to work in an out-patient only setting. The two positions are located approximately 30-45 minutes from Birmingham. Job features include the following:
- MD will go to one location one day per week.
- Clinics are 7 miles apart and 10 minutes (9 miles) from a critical access hospital
- Rural practice with 2 MDs and 1 NP
- Current MD left to practice closer to home
- Outpatient only

B/E or B/C in IM, FM or Med-Peds. Experienced or new grad encouraged to apply. No visas, but internationally trained is OK. One clinic was established in 1985, the other one in 2013. Clinic newly renovated last year. You will see patients per day. Waive testing in lab, digital x-ray. Heavy geriatric population, no newborns, sees children over 3 years old but not their pediatrician. Young Medicare population. Do quality measures, Medicare wellness, 1 EKG per day, mainly routine office visits. Offer virtual & phone visits. Start at 8 a.m. last patient at 4:40 p.m. Own call during week with screening from answering service. Weekend call 1:3 phone call only, no complaints from physicians. Inherit a patient base. Patients in clinic are happy. Days are predictable. Amazing staff, highly trained and dependable. Spacious office and designated parking. Full time position. Work-in same day or next-day appointments with online scheduling. Use Hospitalist in an outpatient-only position. Maintain electronic medical records. Work as an integrated team of providers.
