Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (no 48-hour shifts accepted)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must have Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Must pass EKG test during first week of employment
• MUST HAVE 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips required
• At least one travel assignment must be completed
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit with fast pace and high patient turnover
• Care for post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF patients
• Handle post-procedure catheterization, pacer, defibrillator, ablations, and acute chest pain/MI cases
• Manage medical/surgical overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Any color scrubs allowed
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
