Hospitalist

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Proven experience in hospital-based medicine, including inpatient assessment and management.
- Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with staff and patients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within a hospitalist program or inpatient care teams.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Prior experience in a shift-based or 24-hour rotation environment.
- Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start a 2-week, 24-hour rotation beginning February 9, 2026, with ongoing coverage.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
- Capable of handling administrative documentation and compliance requirements.
- Must hold current and active medical licensure in the applicable state.
