Unit: Radiology | X-Ray Tech – Magic Valley Hospital Certifications: BLS; ARRT (X-ray) required Experience: Strong surgery/OR background required. Must have C-arm, 3D C-arm, and power injector experience. O-arm experience preferred (not required). First-time travelers accepted. Department: 4 rooms + 1 ER room; 7 C-arms, O-arms, and portables Coverage Areas: ER, inpatient, outpatient, OR Job Duties: General X-ray, fluoro, barium swallow & swallow studies; ER protocols and physician preferences followed Volume: ~100 procedures/day Systems: Epic; McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS Equipment: Philips X-ray/portable, Siemens X-ray, CareStream, OEC C-arm IVs: Not required Leadership: Lead Tech on shifts; supervisors during weekdays Schedule: Mostly 10-hour shifts; day starts 8–10 AM. Nights 12:30 AM–6:00 AM (single tech). Weekends: Every other weekend (rotation) Holidays: Travelers last resort Call/Standby: Optional standby Scrubs: Surgical scrubs provided Orientation: Up to 3 shifts Note: 50-mile radius rule—perm address required with submittal to confirm eligibility.
