About the Role
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will be confident assisting cardiologists during a variety of invasive cardiac procedures, managing sterile setup, and monitoring cases. A longer assignment of 26 weeks is preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists at the procedure table

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field

• Prep patients and equipment for procedures

• Monitor cases and document data accurately

• Support procedures including:

  • LHC (Left Heart Cath)

  • RHC (Right Heart Cath)

  • Peripheral procedures

  • TEE’s

  • Cardioversion

• Participate in call rotation (minimum 15 days) including holidays

• Float to other areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• ACLS & BLS certifications

• Demonstrated experience with LHC, RHC, peripherals, TEE’s, and cardioversion

• Ability to meet call requirements

• EMR: Xper, MedHost
