Location: Mercy Coletta Cancer Center - Oklahoma City
Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the Mammography Supervisor and Senior Mammographer, performs professional mammography, education and other women's services provided throughout the Breast Imaging department.
Qualifications:
Mammography Technologist
Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours
Experience: no experience required
Certification: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); BLS within 30 days of hire
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Advanced Mammography Technologist
Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
Certification: ARRT ( R )(M); BLS Basic Life Support
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Current Mammography Technologists who are moving to Advanced Mammography Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Mammography Technologist competencies.
Senior Mammography Technologist
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
- Certification: ARRT ( R )(M) and 1 advanced registry: ARRT(BS) OR RDMS(BR); BLS Basic Life Support
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- Current Advanced Mammography Technologists who are moving to Senior Mammography Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Mammography AND Advanced Mammography Technologist competencies.
This is a career-ladder position. The level at which the successful candidate is hired will be determined based on education, certification/licensure, and relevant imaging experience.
