AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in the San Luis Valley (near Alamosa) in Colorado, to find a qualified Physical Therapist to help support their students for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. As a Physical Therapist, you will work Monday to Thursday (9 hour days), helping students develop and improve their physical well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions. You will be part of a team that values innovation, support, and a commitment to excellence. You will have a very manageable caseload in a laid back environment, and will have 3-day weekends to explore the beautiful surrounding mountain towns, and all the great activities in between.The San Luis Valley is home to attractions such as the Great Sand Dunes National Park, numerous hot springs, and a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and climbing, making it a great place for people who love outdoor adventures.Working at this location means joining a supportive, collaborative team that is deeply committed to providing superior educational services. Required Qualifications
Physical Therapist, SchoolExperience: New Grad AcceptedGraduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in Colorado
Must have Colorado Department of Education Special Services License (CDE SSP)
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
