Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a PA or compact license and current ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department (ER) setting
- Rotating 12-hour shifts including days (7:00-19:00), evenings (11:00-23:30), and nights (19:00-7:30)
- Required to work every other weekend
- No floating required outside of the Emergency Department
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Candidates must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline processes promptly after contract signing
- Lab work required within 72 hours of contract signing
- Specific instructions for credentialing provided after offer
- Rotating shifts will typically change every 4-6 weeks
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license required
- Certifications required: CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Trauma nursing experience preferred
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility
