This is a government contractor facility helping our nation's Veterans by providing medical evaluation services. The organization conducts compensation and pension exams along with separation health assessments for Veterans across multiple locations in North Carolina.

General Medicine Provider - AANP
Job Details:
• Perform compensation and pension exams plus separation health assessments for Veterans• Multiple locations available across North Carolina including Kitty Hawk, Murphy, Roanoke Rapids, Ruffin, Henderson, New Bern, and Elizabeth City• Provider must have their own office within specified mile radius of service area• Flexible schedule with options to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)• One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing• No prescribing or treatment required• Quick credentialing and onboarding process• Suitable for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)• Requires active and unrestricted full license in North Carolina• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified• Follow-up administrative work required regularly (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)• One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams• Local candidates only, travel included in rates
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
• Half-day Rate: $600 flat rate for 4 hour shifts or less• Daily Rate: $1200 flat rate for 5 hour shifts or longer
Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
