Position Overview

This Med Surg RN will provide high-quality patient care across a broad range of adult and geriatric medical needs. You’ll join a collaborative team that values strong assessment skills, adaptability, and confident clinical judgment. This is a night shift role (3x12s) with 36 hours scheduled weekly.

Contract length: 13 weeks
Pathway: Travel Contract
Compensation: Up to $2,260/week based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care within the Med Surg unit
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor clinical changes
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold facility safety standards
• Support a rural hospital environment where teamwork is essential

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Illinois or Compact)
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on nights
• Comfort working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
