Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of circulator experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating and Recovery Room of a hospital setting
• Care primarily for surgical and recovery room patients
• Cases include Ortho, Endoscopy, General, and ENT procedures
• Scheduled shift is 07:00-15:30
• Call rotation required, including every 6th or 7th weekend
• Schedule rotates between 36 and 48 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Orientation is hosted bi-weekly
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless unit-specific exceptions apply
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• No local candidates accepted
• Assignment requires flexibility to interview if shortlisted

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of recent OR RN circulator experience
• Strong experience in orthopedic procedures
• Experience with Endoscopy, General, and ENT surgical cases
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
