A healthcare services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedChild & Adolescent Psychologist to their growing team in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities:

The Child & Adolescent Psychologist will:

• Evaluate patients to determine the presence of mental health disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans for their patients
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary
• Provide various forms of psychotherapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, play therapy, and other evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of young patients
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care for children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises, including suicidal ideation or self-harm.
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in the State of New York
• Clinical Psychology for PsyD or PhD
• Board Eligible / Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychology
