RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week assignment length
• Weekend rotating schedule required with every other weekend commitment
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years of ICU experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, active Texas RN license (temporary license not accepted)
• Work in very high acuity unit handling ECMO, heart transplant, CABG patients
• Experience required with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patients, and post-CABG care
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• CVICU experience preferred
• May be floated to other ICUs based on volume and acuity, rarely to PCU
• Overtime available
• Bedside shift report required with white board updates
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
• Clean, healthy nails only - no artificial nails, gel, or extensions
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art should be covered when possible
• Visible piercings other than ears prohibited
