Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with at least 2 years of high-risk OB ultrasound experience and ARDMS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care setting specializing in maternal fetal medicine (high-risk OB ultrasound)
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday with varied start times between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM
- Shift length is 8 hours per day for a 40-hour workweek
- Uses Cerner PowerChart 2012.01.19 as the EMR system
- Primary responsibility is performing ultrasounds for high-risk obstetric patients in a maternal fetal medicine department
- No orientation hours provided prior to starting assignments
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a sonographer in a high-risk OB setting
- Current ARDMS, BLS, and NT certification required
- Fetal Echo experience preferred
- License required if applicable
