Opportunity for faculty appointment, research collaboration and potential rural residency development. BE/BC General Surgeon role in Northeastern North Carolina; permanent, full-time with shared call; clinic follow-up for OR cases (one optional day/week); inpatient and outpatient duties; community-based practice. - Board Eligible/Board Certified General Surgeon
- Experience in MIS and robotic surgery preferred
- Upper and lower endoscopy skills
- Eligible for medical licensure in NC
- Able to participate in on-site teaching and call rotation

Facility is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join their growing practice
- Follow up in clinic for OR cases -preferred /optional one day a week
- Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general surgery practice.
- Established community practice with 3 surgeons sharing call responsibilities and coverage
- Opportunity for faculty appointment, academic teaching and research collaboration
- Potential to contribute to the development of a rural surgery residency track with on-site teaching
- Experienced applicants are preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ideal candidate will perform general, MIS, and robotic surgery, plus upper and lower scopes
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
- Built in referral network
- Excellent compensation and benefits package
