Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac and IR experience for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab
- Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No call requirement for this assignment
- Patient population includes those requiring cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
- Epic EMR experience required
- Potential to float to an affiliated hospital nearby as needed
- Duties include monitoring and scrubbing for all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cath lab
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, cardiovascular technologists, and nurses to ensure efficient workflow and a patient-friendly environment
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Return staff must have been gone for at least 6 months to be eligible as a traveler
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mile radius restriction
- Request for time off must be included at time of application and may not exceed two weeks
- Scrub attire is required in accordance with hospital policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology
- Current ARRT credential, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
- Active OR license required if applicable
- OMBI license must be obtained prior to start
- Experience with Epic charting system is required
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions are not accepted
- Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration
