This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. They provide comprehensive Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans across multiple locations in Arkansas.

General Medicine Provider
Job Details:
• Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments for veterans• Multiple locations available: Arkadelphia (2 days/week), Pine Bluff (2 days/week), Forrest City (1 day/week), and Helena (2 days/week)• Provider must have their own office location (within preferred mileage radius of assigned area)• PRN basis, ongoing opportunity• Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing• No prescribing or treatment involved• Quick credentialing and onboarding process• Eligible specialties include: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or background in general medicine• Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• Provider must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)• Must have AANP certification• Active and unrestricted full Arkansas license required• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified• Not eligible for active military duty personnel, those in reserves, or actively employed at the VA• Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
