Assignment Overview We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a comprehensive assignment involving clinic, office days, and 24-hour weekend call. This role requires proficiency in ERCP and a commitment to high-quality inpatient and outpatient care.
- Start Date: May 2026 (Ongoing)
- Schedule Structure:
- Weekday Clinic + Night Call: 8-hour shift (7:30 AM 3:30 PM or 7:40 AM 3:40 PM) followed by night call starting at 5:00 PM.
- Office Days: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch).
- Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage.
- Compensation Notes: 8 hours guaranteed per day.
- OT applies after 9 hours per day (requires manager pre-approval).
Clinical Requirements- Procedures:ERCP is required. Standard procedures typically range from minutes.
- Fluoroscopy: Active Fluoroscopy permit is required. Candidates with a Temporary Fluoroscopy permit will be considered, provided they obtain a permanent permit within one year.
- Experience: Must show 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in Gastroenterology. Case logs must be included with the presentation.
Candidate Qualifications- Licensure: Active California (CA) State License and DEA.
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) within 5 years of residency.
- Work History: Any gaps in practice greater than 3 months must be explained.
Onboarding & Credentialing- Timeline: Several months (Privileging begins only after RFA and application are returned).
- RFA Turnaround: Expected within hours.
- Application: Must be submitted within 5 days of RFA.
