Candidates must have medical licensure in New York, relevant certification, and at least one year of practice experience, with bilingual skills preferred.
A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Physician for a promising opportunity at one of their clinics in the Bronx as a Primary Care Provider. In this role, the Primary Care Provider will be responsible for screening, diagnoses, and treatment of patients for providing such care in a sensitive and non-judgmental manner, and for making appropriate internal and external referrals.

- Provide comprehensive care to patients according to pre-arranged schedules
- Documentcare promptly and followcharting protocols
- Ensure appropriate follow-up for all aspects of ordered care (e.g., specialty referrals, laboratory results, radiology reports, etc.)
- Providecare to patients living with HIV
- Participate in didactics, precepting, and case conferencing in order to build competency in HIV care
- Assist in continuous quality improvement through ongoing problem/needs identification and problem-solving
- Maintain familiarity with clinical guidelines and current treatment protocols in areas, such astransgender health, GEN care, and STI care
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 1+ year of experience in a Medical Practice and/or similar setting
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and/or Infectious Disease specialty
- DEA Controlled Substances certification / registration
- CPR certification
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Commitment to community-based Primary Care
