Job DescriptionSeeking a dedicated CVICU Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including at least 2 years as a staff nurse in CVICU. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a mixed ICU setting and will be expected to take overflow patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients and ECMO.
- Administer blood products and medications as needed.
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal and other critical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in CVICU.
- Current Maryland or Compact nursing license.
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CALS certifications required.
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
