Practice Setting: Hospital Patient Ages: In-Patient On Call: Yes, in a beeper call position taking 1:4 call. Qualifications: Completion of a Degree from an Accredited Residency Program Current State Medical License or eligibility for licensure Board Certification and participation in Maintenance of Certification (MOC) DEA/CSR registration required Ability to work call shifts and be cross-credentialed across all three sites Facility Details: It is a 150-bed community hospital offering various surgical services, including women's health, orthopedics, oncology, spine surgery, and endoscopy. The facility staffs up to six rooms daily, including four Operating Rooms and two Endo rooms. The Colonial Heights Surgery Center, located 15 minutes from the hospital, includes two Operating Rooms and two procedure rooms. Technology: The Medaxion iPad-based Electronic Medical Record system is used across the facilities. New staff will receive orientation on Medaxion, ensuring smooth integration into the workflow.
