An Anesthesiology Physician provides anesthesia care across multiple specialized sites including cardiac, trauma, obstetrics, and pediatrics within a 435-bed hospital. Responsibilities include supervising CRNAs, managing high-acuity cases ranging from neonatal to geriatric patients, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage. The role requires expertise in various anesthesia procedures and certifications, supporting a care team model in a Level 2 Trauma center.

Care Team Model. Physician Supervising 100% of time. 5% of time Physician own cases.
Shift Times:
7a-5p M-F, "second call" 12p-8p - working cases then covering beeper from 8p-7a, 7p-7a beeper call
9 sites of service (inclusive of Cardiac, trauma OB and Pedi)
8 sites of service (inclusive of Cardiac, trauma OB and Pedi)
After 1900 3 sites of service - 2 in house, 1 MD on back up. (inclusive of Cardiac, trauma OB and Pedi)
Call Required? Yes, beeper call. MDs must be able to do OB cases in order to take call.
