Pain Management opening in Macon GAFull time, permanentPosition Details:Case AssignmentsMedial branch blocks, facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, discography, peripheral nerve stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, prolotherapy, disc regenerative therapy, peripheral joint injections and trigger point injections.ShiftsGoal is to be open Monday Friday. No weekends, no call and see an average volume of at least 25-28 patients/day. We prefer physicians who are boarded in Anesthesiology; however, we also may consider board certification in Neurology (depending on additional/previous pain management practice experience). There could also be opportunities to work with our anesthesia partners while ramping up the clinic. RequirementsM.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of MedicineCompletion of approved residency in anesthesia or neurologyCompletion of Pain Management fellowshipCurrently licensed as a physicianCollaborate with other providers and leadership to maintain a comprehensive approach to patient care.Interpret and explain imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, etc.) and test results in order to identify patient conditions, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide plan of care details.All candidates must be able to demonstrate familiarity and/or proficiency in the list of case assignments previously mentioned.
