Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehouse management industry, is seeking a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to join their team. As a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting warehouse operations and customer relations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Range: $24.00
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Assist customers and business partners via telephone and email to ensure smooth communication and service delivery
- Process orders, receipts, and inventory updates across multiple Warehouse Management Systems and Truck Management Systems
- Communicate with truck drivers upon check-in, assign dock doors, and process completed paperwork at departure
- Update and verify inbound and outbound orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities, lot numbers, SKU numbers, and reference information
- Run stock checks, diagnose inventory discrepancies, and identify root causes to improve inventory accuracy
What's Needed?
- Prior customer service experience or a strong desire to develop in this area
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent phone and email communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn new skills
