The Systems Integration & Data Integration Engineer manages PLC programming, SCADA and MES platforms, and integrates physical hardware such as scanners and cameras into automation workflows. The position demands extensive hands-on experience with industrial automation protocols and manufacturing operations to ensure data accuracy and seamless system interoperability.

TRC Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a leading global manufacturer to recruit a highly skilled Systems Integration & Data Integration Engineer. This critical role will drive the future of manufacturing technology by designing and implementing core integration pathways across multiple high-volume production facilities.

We are seeking a hands-on, highly skilled Systems Integration & Data Integration Engineer to ensure seamless, end-to-end data and systems integration across five regional manufacturing facilities in the Carrollton, GA area. This role is essential for bridging the gap between operational technology (OT) on the plant floor and enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and support robust data flows connecting PLCs (Rockwell & Siemens), Kepware OPC, a leading MES platform (e.g., Plant Apps), and various associated platforms to historians and visualization systems.
Develop and manage MES recipes, alarms, events, and triggers, including complex XML-based recipe intake.
Validate the recipe pipeline flow from the MES Kepware Production Line PLCs to guarantee data integrity and accuracy.
Map and maintain Input/Output (I/O) tags efficiently within the Kepware environment.
Integrate enterprise services like Active Directory with OPC and automation layers for security and access control.
Implement integration logic for physical hardware, including badge scanners and barcode scanners, directly into PLC workflows.
Develop and support camera and vision system integrations, encompassing data structure design, FTP transfers, and automated image routing to quality systems (e.g., for batch records compilation).

Required Skills:

Extensive, hands-on experience with SCADA systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming for both Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens control platforms.
Deep expertise in Kepware OPC server configuration and management.
Strong working knowledge of a leading MES/MOM platform (e.g., GE Plant Apps) and associated industrial platforms.
Strong manufacturing/plant-floor operational experience is mandatory.
Proven history of integrating physical hardware (scanners, cameras) into industrial automation logic.
SQL background is highly preferred.
