JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active Virginia medical license required
- Board: BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- DEA: Active DEA required
- Certifications: Not specified
- Experience: For GME positions, prior GME experience required
- Other Qualifications: Must be clean file, willing to work days/nights, minimum 7 shifts
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide inpatient hospitalist care to adult patients
- Participate in rounding and admissions as required
- Perform procedures such as central lines, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Collaborate with residency program and medical staff
- Ensure quality patient care and documentation in EMR system
