The Outside Sales Representative will drive business growth by actively engaging in sales and business development within a designated territory, focusing on acquiring new accounts and managing existing customer relationships. This role requires significant travel and strong skills in customer rapport, time management, and planning, preferably with experience in hydrovac, construction, utilities, or environmental services. Compensation is commission-based, with uncapped earning potential, supported by benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.
This is a commission-eligible role with an estimated total compensation range of $105,000 plus annually (base + uncapped commission). Compensation may vary and will be influenced by performance, geographic location, education, experience, and along with internal equity and market alignment.
This role requires up to 75% travel to local branches, customer sites, and customer offices.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Engage in business development activities in a field sales role
- Grow Badger’s business with focus on business acquisition and account management
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of previous sales experience preferably in a business development role
- Experience in hydrovac, construction, utilities or environmental services industry preferred
- Experience in customer support and account management
- Ability to build rapport with client prospects
- Strong time management and planning skills
