Registered Nurse MS/Tele (MSU) - Rochester, NY
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, requiring every other weekend and holiday availability.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit. The RN will be responsible for patient care including cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
Responsibilities- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Utilize Rapid Response and Code teams as necessary.
- Administer oxygen using nasal cannulas and manage oxygen tanks.
- Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care.
- Implement isolation precautions as required.
- Must have an active New York Single State RN license.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in MS/Tele nursing is preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
