- Seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist Division Director to join our multispecialty program
- Join an active Pediatric Cardiology practice
- Additional local satellite opportunities for both outpatient clinic and procedures.
- Day/night call coverage.
- Active participation in the pediatric residency program through teaching, clinical research, advising/mentoring, and committee involvement.
- Teaching opportunities for local medical students and visiting international medical students.
- Faculty appointments commensurate with experience are available from our affiliated medical institution.
- Full-time, employed position.
- Division Director Responsibilities: - Participate in making the Division s monthly on-call schedule. - Attend monthly departmental faculty and pediatric leadership meetings. - Meet regularly with the Chair and Department Director to review the Division s performance and programmatic/strategic initiatives. - Make recommendations to optimize clinical operations and performance. - Collaborate with the practice manager/designee to address and resolve Division office issues as they arise to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications:
- Medical degree obtained from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology
- Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions
- Current or obtainable DEA certificate and Maryland CDS license
- Clinical experience in Pediatric Cardiology
- Demonstrate strong interest in working within an academic environment and demonstrate teaching competence in pediatrics for medical students and residents Benefits:
