An Emergency Medicine Physician provides urgent medical care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center emergency room. They perform emergency and trauma stabilization procedures, collaborate with specialty backup and support staff, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards. This locum tenens position requires active licensure, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications including ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS.

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Texas Medical License
• Certifications: AHA-approved ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Medicine (or IM/FM with relevant experience)
• Other Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
• Recent CME (9 hours Stroke CME, 9 hours Trauma CME annually)
• Case logs from the past two years
• Copies of all educational and training diplomas
• Social Security Card, Driver s License, and a recent color photo
• Compliance with TB/Flu requirements

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform emergency procedures as required
• Collaborate with support staff and specialty backups to manage patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory compliance standards
