Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with oncology and telemetry experience for a night shift Med/Surg Tele Oncology position in Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Oncology Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Primary focus on oncology patients requiring medical/surgical and telemetry care
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
- Cardiac exam is required after offer acceptance, with a link sent within 48 hours and 24-hour completion deadline
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license with no past or current disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year recent within Med/Surg Tele or Oncology specialty
- Current BLS certification required
- Permanent or compact license in hand at time of consideration; no temporary or pending licenses accepted
