Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Role $1,725 to $1,825 per week
About the Role:
Medadventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide hands-on support for occupational therapy plans in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is perfect for a team player who values improving patients’ independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Provide rehabilitation services to help patients regain mobility and functional independence.
- Accurately document treatment progress and patient responses.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:- Valid COTA certification and state licensure.
- Experience in a SNF setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
