This locum tenens position seeks a board-certified Radiation Oncologist to provide outpatient radiation therapy services in Arizona near Parker. We are seeking a qualified Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens assignment in Arizona, located near Parker, AZ. Assignment Overview: Specialty: Radiation Oncology Assignment Dates: March 3, 2025, to March 7, 2025 Practice Setting: Outpatient only Schedule: Standard clinical hours Required Certifications: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology, Fellowship Required Location: Arizona (Near Parker) Responsibilities: Provide radiation oncology services for outpatient patients Perform a variety of radiation therapies, including external beam therapy (EBRT), linear accelerator operation, and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) Deliver treatments such as image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and conventional therapy Required to have knowledge of brachytherapy, total body irradiation (TBI), and superficial/orthovoltage treatments Perform conventional treatment planning and image fusion with PET CT or MRI Work independently, no supervision of advance practice providers required Requirements: Board certification in Radiation Oncology (Fellowship required) Active Arizona medical license required BLS certification required Minimum of 45 days credentialing time Preferred Skills: Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques, including CyberKnife, Gamma Knife, and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Experience with clinical trials and research in radiation oncology Travel & Lodging: Nearest airport to the assignment location is easily accessible Lodging recommendations and arrangements can be provided Additional Information: This facility does not require inpatient duties or admissions Temporary hospital/surgery center privileges available No trauma care required for this assignment This is an exciting opportunity for any Radiation Oncologist seeking locum tenens work in Arizona.
