Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Oncology position in the Blood Cancer Unit, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and oncology certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Blood Cancer Unit specializing in oncology care
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Provide care for oncology patients, with a focus on blood cancer cases
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Provide specialized nursing care to blood cancer patients
- Night shift position with full patient assignments in the oncology unit
- First time travelers will be considered
- Documentation of US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No Canadian SSNs accepted
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent oncology nursing experience
- Oncology certification (ONC) required
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
