Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg and skilled nursing assignment in California, requiring a current CA RN license and strong Cerner EMR skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in Med/Surg and skilled nursing departments with adult and non-critical pediatric populations
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Floating required to the skilled nursing department
• Cerner EMR experience is required
• Rapid response crisis assignment lasting 13 weeks
• Candidates must be familiar with National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by The Joint Commission
• Paid orientation is provided at the beginning of the assignment
• No COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position
• Candidates may be called off up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract based on census changes
• No specific radius rule for local candidates applies

Requirements

• Active California RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience providing care to non-critical pediatric patients
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR is mandatory
