Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Santa Teresa, NM
Pay Range: $15.00 to $18.00
Shift: 7am to 4pm
What's the Job?
- Operate press brake machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and sketches
- Program CNC controllers to ensure accurate bend and forming operations
- Adjust machine settings based on process control instructions and blueprints
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment in optimal condition
- Collaborate with Quality Control to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent with prior machine-operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documents
- Basic math skills, including converting fractions to decimals
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with little supervision
