A reputable medical facility in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Board-Certified Infectious Disease Physician to provide full-time locum coverage. This role includes inpatient consultations, wound care, and oversight of IVIg treatments at the infusion center. Coverage is needed due to provider retirement.
Assignment Details:Dates: July 29 August 25, 2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
Commitment: Minimum of 2 weeks/month (no 1-week-per-month or alternating week schedules accepted)
Setting: Inpatient facility with adjacent Infusion and Wound Care Clinics
Patient Load: Approximately 7 12 patients/day
Procedures: In-office dressing changes, wound care, IVIg order management
Support Staff: 1 Medical Assistant and 1 Front Office staff
EMR: Cerner
Orientation: First-day onboarding with EMR training and on-site Cerner support
Board Certification in Infectious Disease (Board Eligible considered)
Active Arizona License or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
Completion of Infectious Disease Residency/Fellowship
DEA License
Clean Background & Malpractice History (required for expedited credentialing)
Experience managing inpatient ID cases, IVIg protocols, and wound care
Airport: Fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
Ground Travel: 100-mile drive to Prescott via rental car
Lodging: Local preferred hotels available
Work in a supportive clinical environment
Diverse caseload involving inpatient ID, infusion therapies, and wound care
Emergency credentialing available for qualified providers
Located in the scenic mountain town of Prescott, AZ
