Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – 18 · Number of Staff – 6 nurses, 1 aide per shift · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 6 nurses, 1 aide per shift o Night Shift – 6 nurses, 1 aide per shift · Patient Ratios – typically 3 patients to 1 nurse. May see 4 patients to 1 nurse · Type of equipment – telemetry monitor, Doppler, cardiac monitors, a-lines, TR bands, sheaths · EMR – Meditech Must have: · Telemetry monitoring · ACLS, BLS · Cardiac nurse experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Cardiac cath lab interventions, vascular surgery, 1 or 2 day post-op open heart · STEMI, stroke
