Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position, requiring strong L&D skills and ability to circulate C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with LDRP, High Risk, and Antepartum patient populations
• 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00-07:30) with every 3rd weekend required
• Rare float to NICU as helping hands
• Caring for high-risk pregnancies and L&D patients
• No on-call requirements
• Scrub color is seal blue
• Must be comfortable in a high acuity L&D environment and be strong in labor skills
• No cost for parking at the facility
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed but may be accommodated if requested
• RTO is considered per contract

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license, or eligibility with application required within 48 hours of offer
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are required
• Must be able to independently circulate own C-section procedures
• AWHONN Intermediate and ACLS certifications preferred
• Must live at least 50 miles from all CHN facilities
• First-time travelers are not accepted
