RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• 13-week seasonal contract starting January 4th
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No call requirements
• Weekend requirements: 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Patient ratios: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
• Work with cardiovascular and critical care patients including ECMO, adult recovery cases
• Required experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Must have experience with titratable drips and understanding of hemodynamics
• Experience required with respiratory patients: vents, BiPap, trachs, airvo
• Must have open heart surgery recovery experience
• Experience required with ECMO, Impella, balloon pumps
• Must have CRRT/SLED experience
• Work with equipment including GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• EMR system: Meditech
• Assist with procedures including central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, intubation
• Navy scrubs required
• CVICU charge experience preferred
• Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptability
Facility:
This medical center features an 8-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit located on the 4th floor, staffed with experienced critical care professionals. The unit maintains advanced cardiac and critical care technology including ECMO capabilities, specialized monitoring equipment, and comprehensive life support systems. The facility provides complex cardiovascular care with a focus on post-operative cardiac surgery patients and advanced cardiac interventions, supported by a team of 25 dedicated staff members.
