This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, responsible for leading the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, and providing personalized patient care throughout surgical procedures. Candidates must have a current RN license, prior OR experience, and a nursing degree from an accredited institution. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans while ensuring adherence to medical protocols and compassionate treatment.
Sign-on bonus available up to $20,000 and Relocation up to $7,500!
- Schedule: 40 hours (FT), Four 10 hour shifts (day shift). The schedule will be 6:30A-5P, M-F with some call required (call will be reviewed more in depth during interview). Day off each week will rotate.
- Department: Operating Room (OR)
- Location: Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville, North Carolina.
- Unit Info: 4 Operating Rooms and 2 procedure rooms, procedures range.
- Requirements: Prior Operating Room experience required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course,preferred.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
