LDRP RN - Float *Certifications Required: BLS (Preferred: ACLS, NRP, STABLE)* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT - # of L&D Beds: 15 total- 7 L&D, 8 Postpartum - # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 1 - # of Births per day? Month? Year?: 58 per month - Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1 for pit, mag, or insulin drips. 1:3 couplet care. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Mix. Mainly obstetric/neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks - Experience or 'Must have' skills: able to read and interpret fetal strips, critical thinking, follow quality metrics, previous travel experience, must be able to read strips - will float to Medsurg & ER as needed - Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: pitocin, insulin, magnesium
